令和５年４月１日付で中野が北海道大学大学院理学研究院の教授に、島﨑智久さんが同助教に着任しました。10年間のドイツ生活に区切りをつけ、満を持していよいよ本格的に日本での研究生活を再開します。さっそくラボの整理や場所作り、機材の購入と搬入、オフィスのリノベーションなどに取り組んで、新しい環境を作りあげています。これまではオフィシャルには中野ひとりで「RTNakano Lab」を名乗ってきましたが、これから本当の意味での研究グループとしての活動が始まります。これからもRTNakano Labをよろしくお願いします！

学部生、修士・博士の大学院生、ポスドクさん、あらゆるレベルで常時仲間を募集しています。学振DC/PDの受け入れも歓迎です。まずは rtnakanolab [at] gmail.com までお気軽にご連絡ください。twitterやinstagramのDMも受け付けています。研究室見学はいつでも受け入れていますし事前の根回しも不要です（連絡しておいてくれたほうが訪問時にラボにいれるように調整はしやすいですが）。もし匿名で聞きたいことがあれば中野の質問箱をご利用ください。

We are moving back to Japan…!! Thomas has been appointed as a full professor at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan, as of the 1st of April. And Tomohisa also joins as an assistant professor! We are incredibly excited about what awaits us and deeply committed to doing excellent research in plant microbiota interactions.

ECRs at all levels – from undergrads to grad students, up to postdocs – are welcome to join us! We would also be glad to host your fellowship.
